The Story.

Bob has been working on clocks for over 26 years. Brought up in the
care of Dr Barnardo’s Homes where the philosophy was to teach the children a craft they could earn a living by, he says, "Working with my hands became second nature for me.” Since he began working with clocks, he has restored over 18,000 movements. Bob now concentrates purely on the restoration of antique clocks and says - “Sounds silly I know, but when I see an interesting clock at auction, my hands actually tingle and itch with the thought that I am going to handle it and restore the works, I find myself rubbing my hands together with excitement at the prospect.”
