The Story.
As a world class super-model for the last twenty years Jodie has graced the covers of the world’s top fashion magazines. Alongside her successful modelling career, she is also an accomplished polo player, golfer and
racing driver – she won the Maserati Trofeo Pro-AM race in Bologna, in a torrential downpour.
"When modeling I have to be very conscious of my hands, it’s easy when you’re working to forget them, which is a mistake, you have to stay
focused to ensure they remain looking natural and relaxed.”
Whilst her love of sports requires precise hand to eye co-ordination, perfect timing and strength, her hands are also reliant on the softest of touches.
“When playing polo I’m acutely aware that I’m controlling half a ton of emotional animal and more or less 100% of my communication with it is through my hands. Racing is in a way very similar, whilst I need strength to control the car, the wheel responds to lightest of movements that need to be both fast and precise.”
Brought up in the country, her hands have taken quite a battering, with broken fingers and thumbs being a part of everyday life. Her three star
tattoo represents Barbados where she has spent much of her life.
All prints are all archival, meaning they will last for well over 75 years. Most of his prints are reproduced on Hahnemühle Fine Art photo paper, regarded as one of the best photographic papers in the world. The majority of prints are printed using Giclée printing which reproduces incredible detail and brilliant colour, and has a higher resolution than traditional lithographic printing. All Limited Edition prints come with a Certificate of Authentication stating the print title, edition number, date of printing and are signed by the artist and stamped with his photographer's seal. The print itself is also titled, numbered and signed in pencil by the artist. All prints come with a pair of print handling gloves and a “Handling & Framing Your Print” instruction sheet.
Print sizes are quoted as the edge to edge dimensions of the paper itself, including the border around the image. Borders will vary according to the image dimensions, but will typically be between 1 to 2 ½ inches.
Each print will have a strict limitation to its edition run, plus a maximum of 2APs (Artist Proofs) marked 1/AP and 2/AP.
